I am an ADHD Coach for children, adolescents, families and parents in beautiful Colorado. I personally understand the struggles and the gifts of having ADHD. Once I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 25, I finally understood my life up until that point. Please feel free to ask me and I will be happy to share my experiences with you! I had survived up until that point with ADHD and gave into the idea that my life is what it is.
It wasn’t until a few years ago that I finally decided I wanted to do more than just survive as a person with ADHD. I wanted to thrive! I did a lot of research about ADHD and came across information about ADHD Coaches. The idea of becoming an ADHD Coach intrigued me so much that I decided to train as an ADHD Coach. I chose to train with ADDCA (ADD Coach Academy). They are the only ADHD coach training program fully accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC).
What I have learned has helped me understand my own ADHD. I now embrace the fact that I have ADHD and that it’s actually a gift. I decided to specialize in working with children, adolescents, families and parents. I have been told that I have a gift with children. I enjoyed 20 years of being a nanny to many amazing kids! I also want to lessen the struggle for children, adolescents, families, and parents trying to cope with ADHD and Executive Functioning issues. As an ADHD Coach, I want to share my knowledge and experiences with others so that they can thrive and not just survive!
On a personal note, I grew up in Broomfield, Colorado. I have two nephews, a niece, and two cats I absolutely adore. I like going on walks, art projects, gardening, and movies.
